2. Manufacturing

2.1 We use both traditional and modern goldsmithing techniques to create our long lasting, contemporary jewellery pieces.

2.2 All of CCINIS jewellery is designed, made, set and hallmarked in London, United Kingdom.

2.3 Our regular order lead time for completing your product(s), specific to your size and preferences, is 6 weeks. However, we might be able to expedite your order under certain circumstances, so please let us know what your preferred delivery date is and we will try to meet that date. In some rare cases, we might require up to 10 weeks lead time, particularly when gemstones of higher carat weight or of specific colour have been selected. If an extension of the regular lead time is necessary, we will contact you to let you know about the status of your order.

3. Products

3.1 All CCINIS products are manufactured in 18 karat gold or in 950 platinum. The purity of our jewellery pieces is guaranteed by the hallmark of the British Government which checks and verifies the metal purity of each and every CCINIS design.

We strives to source our raw materials responsibly, respecting ethical business practices, human and labour rights, and the environment.

Suppliers in the coloured gemstones supply chain shall provide assurance as far as possible that gemstones are mined and processed in ways that respect human and labour rights, are conflict-free and do not inflict environmental damage.

We offer Canadian diamonds, Sri Lankan sapphires and Muzo emeralds on request.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, our expertly cut diamonds are of G-J color grade and of VS1-SI1 clarity. The diamond weights stated on our website are minimum weights (there are no negative weight tolerances).

You will not have any right to cancel an order for the supply of bespoke products.

11. Warranty

11.1 CCINIS guarantees a warranty period of twelve months on all of our jewellery from the date of completion (final delivery).

We will repair your item free of charge during the warranty period if it is a manufacturing or material defect. It is your responsibility to ship and insure your jewellery to our office in London, United Kingdom. CCINIS will return your piece insured once it has been repaired.

11.2 Please note cracking, chipping or scratching of gemstones or general signs of wear are not considered as manufacturing defects. Our warranty does not cover loss of an item, damage caused by accidents, inappropriate use or wear and tear. Please see our Jewellery Care Guide for more information on how to keep your jewellery in the best condition.

CCINIS will not be held liable for breakages which are caused by impact that the wearer subjects to a gemstone. As mentioned in our Gemstone Care Guide, some gems are softer and more prone to breakage than others. Even diamond, the hardest substance on Earth, breaks if hit with the right amount of force at the right angle. It is therefore critical that you research which types of gemstone are most suitable for the lifestyle of the wearer. For example, since emerald is one of the most fragile and breakable stones, we would not recommend it to a wearer who would wear it whilst doing a lot of physical activity or who handles chemical substances whilst wearing an emerald ring.

Loss of pavé or side stones is classified under regular wear and tear. To prevent this, the prongs holding these stones should be checked regularly as part of ring care and servicing.
